There is much that is true in the new movie Avatar! Pandora is in fact the way Earth used to be. The descriptions in the Sumerian Texts about how it looked when the first Anunnaki saw it.... They had of course seen many worlds, but little Terra (Earth) even impressed them with its beauty and diversity. Then it was mined for the rich and vast gold deposits. The indigenous population was genetically altered (their DNA mixed with that of the aliens) and turned into slaves. The Anunnaki could take human form (Avatars?!) and walk among the people, 'educating' them and ruling over them. How much different our world would be right now if Humans had not accepted their fate back then! ...The prayer for the slain beast is straight out of Native American culture, as is the understanding that we are all connected; us, the trees, the planet, the past, the ancestors... The trees on any planet are all connected. It is true here on Earth even now. Have you ever noticed that a tree looks an awful lot like a nerve cell? Trees are alive. They are hundreds, sometimes thousands of years old, perhaps they are wiser than a bunch of noisy skinny naked monkeys less than a century in age... the entire race is not much older than a few generations of trees! The Truth in this movie is the picture of a world in balance. Any World. Seeing the Truth shows us how far our world has backslid. It reminds us where we should be... perhaps what we should strive to return to? The Na'vi won their freedom with the help of one of the alien invaders. That was almost true here. Enki was like Jake in some ways. He was responsible for the creation of the human race, but was saddened that his creation was abused. He educated them and was criticized for it. He saved a handful of humans and hundreds of animal species when the other Anunnaki decided the human race was to be destroyed. He aided partially in the War to force the Anunnaki to abandon the mines. Unfortunately the mining has continued in secret, loads periodically being shuttled away. Perhaps Enki is not done yet in his attempts to free Earth. Time will tell. Check out the meaning of the word Avatar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar. The name for this movie was not chosen by accident! In the movie, the Humans are the Anunnaki- the ones who came from the sky. The Na'vi represent early Humanity. Their world was our world, so very long ago.

How To Fix the Economy
There recently was an article in the St. Petersburg Fl. Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?"
I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing Americas economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan":
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered – Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage – Housing Crisis fixed.
It can't get any easier than that!!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes...
Mr. President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!

It seems that NASA has been anything but truthful in their reporting of information about comet 'Neat'. This is nothing unusual for them of course, but why hide information about a passing comet? What are they not telling us? Why did we not hear excitement about the brightest comet ever recorded? Why do they say nothing still? Nothing except articles debunking the rumors surrounding this significant object?
